Please pray for my friend Jaz who has cancer. She will be 13 years old on Sunday, November 9th and she is in Denver undergoing cancer treatments. Please pray that the Lord will heal her and give her strength to go through all that she has to face. Big Brother

Braden is happy to announce that he is going to be a "BIG BROTHER" in May 2009! He's walking now, and trying his best to communicate verbally (only Mom understands) so he will be able to help out when his sibling arrives!

They were actually watching another friends football game together. Braden loves to think he is just one of the big kids. He had his one year well check up and he weighs 20 lbs 4 oz and is 30 inches tall! We can hardly believe he is growing so fast! He stands for a few seconds by himself, but still won't take that step by himself.

Braden's 1st Birthday!!

It's hard to beleive it has been a year already! Braden is such a blessing to us, and to everyone that knows him. He crawls everywhere, Lita Judy says he "cruns" because he goes so fast! He stands at tables and such and sometimes lets go but as soon as he realizes that he isn't holding on he sits. He will be walking soon. He says "Da-dee" and many other conglomerations of sounds, he knows what he is saying, we are still trying to figure it out. He still wears a 12 month size (even a little big!) and has the biggest smile in Montrose for everyone that he sees. We love him a lot! Happy Birthday Braden.

Watch Out, Here I Come!

After a month of "schooching" around the floor, he finally figured out what his knees could do! Officially crawling on June 24th, 8 months!

It's Been A While!

I guess it is about time I update this blog since I am hearing from everyone that it is! Braden is growing like a weed, he is crawling (or schooching) now and gets to wherever he wants to go. It's time for the gate on the stairs, and child safety locks! He is a very happy baby, smiles all the time, even when he is sick. He loves people, dogs, water, and people food (even though he can't eat it yet!) We are having a great time learning to be parents. God is so good to give us a good natured, happy baby first! We only hope they are all like Braden (we keep hearing that our next one will be our "eye-opener!") We wish you all could be closer so that you could be a part of Braden's everyday life. Be assured that we tell him about all of you all the time. He loves you all!

It was such a long drive to San Diego, 16 hours! My car seat got a little boring, so on some long, isolated stretches, my grandpa let me stretch my legs a little and give him some conversation!

On Vacation!

I got to go on vacation with my mom, my grandpa Ben and grandma Judy, and all my mom's family to the beach in So CA. Only my daddy didn't get to come and I missed him so much. My mom was so glad I didn't even get a sunburn! It was fun, we went to Sea World and had dinner at the Midevil Times! I was King for a night!

Six Months Old! I weigh 16 lbs. and 3 oz. and I am 26 3/4 inches tall! I have two teeth, so Daddy and Mommy said I could have a cake!

My First White Christmas

It's been some time since I have updated the blog, so thought I better get to it! We can hardly believe it's been almost a month already since Christmas, so it is about time to let everyone know how it was! Braden didn't really know what was going on this year, but we did! It was so much fun to anticipate and participate with him this year. We didn't have to buy him much (those days are still ahead!), probably not anything, but it was fun to do little things anyway. Thanks to all of you that sent packages for him, you definetly filled the base of our tree! We hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we enjoyed the moment!
